Over the course of more than six
decades, many changes have taken place. Whether it's the color
uniforms, team logos, field location or even
leagues in which the Blues participate our team remains the same.

However, while the civilian football landscape
invariably changes from year to year, the Blues of Chomedey remain faithful to
three fundamental values: responsibility, fraternity and
communication.

Create bonds for life!

Our three core values

A. Liability

Players, coaches and
Chomedey Blues staff are responsible for their actions. This happens
demonstrated by their attitude and their efforts and they strive to work
together to achieve their goals, both on and off the field.

The players are
responsible for their actions in carrying out the process and not for the
result. Coaches and staff are responsible for the dynamics of
the team and must adapt effectively.

In the age of gratification
instant, it can be difficult for children to excel with
long-term commitments or goals. As an association, we have
the responsibility to accept mistakes and setbacks, which are elements
positive to develop new skills.

Patience is one of the
many values that youth football can teach. It's not
that with patience athletes can learn to trust
their coaches, the training process, their teammates and, well
safe, to themselves, and to be accountable to them.

B. Fraternity

Fraternity cannot be
categorized in a statistical column such as wins or
defeats. The success of the Blues de Chomedey revolves around the motto "this
what is best for my brother/sister is best for me.”

Maximum performance requires that
everyone, from the coaching staff to the parents, including the
fans, volunteers and, above all, the players, does its part, whether it is
big or small.

We bring our
diversity, our compassion and our understanding in training and
matches and we collectively become the Chomedey Blues. We carry ourselves
each other. We celebrate victories and defeats together. We
let's forge bonds that last a lifetime and create memories that
enrich the history of the Blues.

C. Communication

Communication is one of the
the most important skills of the Blues, it must be maintained at all
moment. This goes for coaches, athletes, parents and
administrators.

Effective communication
promotes team cohesion, leadership, problem solving and
decision making.

Communication encompasses everything,
from instructions to emotional support to feedback.

Effective communication allows
also helps athletes learn important life skills. THE
communication skills acquired in the field will apply to the rest of
the life of an athlete.

As in any sport,
Practice is necessary to improve. Athletes need to do
repetitions. If they do not train, when they are faced with a
difficult situation, their skill level will not be sufficient. Athletes
must prepare for difficult conversations that require good
communication skills.

It is simply the
how players and coaches tell others what they think,
what they feel and what they are going to do.
